How To Stream As a DJ Print

  • 0

To connect and stream as a DJ, make sure the AutoDJ of your radio is online.

Download and install your preferred streaming software, such as VirtualDJ, Sam, AltaCast, Butt Encoder, RadioBOSS, Winamp DSP, or any other broadcast program you use.

DJs must always select the Shoutcast v1 protocol or Shoutcast server option in their streaming program. Even if your radio system uses IceCast or SCV2, choose Shoutcast v1 or Shoutcast in the stream settings and connect using only the DJ password and DJ port, without the username.

Example:

If you have a DJ account with the password 1234 and the DJ port 6699, and the AutoDJ is online on Tux-Support.com’s panel, follow these steps:

  1. Open your broadcast/stream program and go to the encoder or radio settings.
  2. Set the Radio Option to Shoutcast v1 or Shoutcast, even if your radio system is IceCast or SCV2.
  3. Enter the Password: 1234
  4. Set the DJ Port to: 6699
  5. Configure other settings such as bitrate, quality, and encoder options according to your needs and radio.
  6. Start streaming.

That’s it!
